EPIK HIGH and DAVICHI have joined forces for their first collaboration single, “MISE EN SCÈNE”.
EPIK HIGH and DAVICHI released their new single “MISE EN SCÈNE” on October 13 at 6 p.m. KST via various online music platforms.
In the domestic hip-hop scene, EPIK HIGH, who has shown a unique presence, and the female duo DAVICHI, loved for a long time for their solid vocal abilities and their numerous hit tracks, have joined forces for the first time on a song, raising interest in the synergy that their different musical colors will create.
The relationship between the two groups began in EPIK HIGH‘s YouTube content, “EPIKASE“. After displaying natural chemistry in “EPIKASE” last October, EPIK HIGH and DAVICHI materialized this special relationship by producing a real musical collaboration with “MISE EN SCÈNE”.
“Mise en scène” is a song that expresses the emotions and stories contained in the moment of facing a separation, like a movie. True to its title, the song delicately captures the moment of separation as if watching a scene, and the narrative expression unique to EPIK HIGH combines with the deep vocals of DAVICHI to guide the emotional line of the track.
In particular, right from the beginning of the song, the synthesizer sound that catches the ear blends with the nostalgic melodies unique to EPIK HIGH and DAVICHI, offering both familiarity and novelty.
After the release of “MISE EN SCÈNE”, both groups are preparing to follow up with solo concerts at the KSPO DOME. DAVICHI will hold a solo concert at the KSPO DOME on December 12 and 13, while EPIK HIGH will meet their fans by organizing their very first solo concert at the KSPO DOME from January 22 to 24, 2027.
