Today, CHUNG HA makes her official debuts in fron of the Korean press and Kstation TV.

I.O.I‘s former member — first group created during the survival PRODUCE 101 season 1 — CHUNG HA debuts solo with a first mini-album entitled “Hands on me“.

The young woman, 21, was noticed by participating in the tv show, in 2016, and being part of the 11 trainees selected to join the group I.O.I, from May 2016 to January 2017. Throughout its year of promotion, this group has been very successful with different singles such as “Crush“, “Dream girl“, “Whatta man” or “Very very very”, which you will find below:

Since the end of the temporary group, each of the girls has followed a personal path and for CHUNG HA, it happens under MNH Entertainment, which officially makes her debut solo, today.

At the Move Hall in the Mapo-gu district, journalists await the arrival of the artist. At 11am KST, she comes on stage and takes everyone on her first introduction track: “Hands on me” (which is also the title of her 1st mini-album), with a very jazzy melody. In a little 60s kind of dress, which she will not keep long, CHUNG HA shows us that she will be a performer who will mix styles. Moreover, on this first title, the singer has participated in the writing of the lyrics. A song with a little retro side, but with a very current rhythm.

CHUNG HA‘s first mini-album is composed of 5 songs: “Hands on me“, “Why don’t you know” (main track), “Make a wish“, “우주먼지” et “Week“.

The last one, “Week“, is a song produced by singer Grizzly and the Cracker 크래커 team. In a RnB ballad style, CHUNG HA made her pre-debut solo with that one, by releasing a MV in April of this year.

Before answering questions from the journalists present, CHUNG HA performs her song “Why do not you know“, in which rapper Nucksal features. A song with a Tropical House rythm that will make you dance this Summer.

The young woman, still full of enthusiasm, then poses in front of the cameras, playing with the journalists and unable to stay in place. CHUNG HA is an artist with a boundless energy, who is ready to share it with the people who will accompany her in her journey.

This first mini-album, containing more than 40 photos and a photocard of the artist inside, already shows us the different facets of CHUNG HA, who will not settle with a only one style.
