On September 22nd, through its official fan cafe, JSL Compagny announces that one of TOPSECRET‘s member, WooYoung, is currently on a break.
This one will not participate in the group’s next schedule, due to health issues.
Last August, while the group was on tour in Japan, Wooyoung had told his company that he was not feeling well. The latter then decided to make him return to Korea earlier, so he could take medical exams and rest.
Earlier in the week, he was the only member of the group not being announced to participate in the new KBS’s show, “The Unit“.
As fans of the group began to ask many questions, the agency decided to clarify the situation.
“Hello. We are the JSL Compagny.
Here is an important announcement regarding the health status of the TOPSECRET member, WooYoung.
In August, WooYoung informed us that he did not feel well.
Since then, he has been examined in the hospital and continues to be treated, in order to get a quick healing.
As his health has not yet improved, it was decided that he should rest first, in order to concentrate as much as possible on his recovery.
Therefore, we can not ensure its presence on future activities.
To the fans, we apologize for the worry provoked and we ask for your understanding. We will do our best within the company so that WooYoung will recover quickly.Thank you.”
Before starting the show “The Unit” in October, the other members of TOPSECRET will be in Sapporo, on September 24th, for the 10 years of KMF, alongside groups such as VIXX, NCT and PENTAGON.
