August 28 was held the debut press showcase with 10 members of the new Woollim Ent‘s group : GOLDEN CHILD.
7 years after debuting their first boy group INFINITE, Woollim Ent. finally reveal the “younger brother” of the group. The members were already known through their show « Woollim Pick » and one of them wasn’t unknown from INSPIRITS (INFINITE fans) since the leader Daeyeol is the younger brother of Sung Yeol. He even appeared in his brother’s show « Sesame Player ». Some of the member also participated in Woollim Ent.‘s « W Project » by posting songs of the Agency’s youtube channel.
Before debuting the group had performed at the COEX in front of fans, excited to see for the first GOLDEN CHILD perform in public.
The 11 members were on stage to introduce themselves and give their feeling for their debuts. When they first heard the name of the group, they liked it because the name leaves an impact and is easily remember. The name of the album refers to the fact that the fans have the tendency to call them “Gol Cha”. Jibeom also introduced himself while using his Busan satoori.
They performed their 6th tracks of their mini album “SEA”.
The first time they heard the song, the member Jang Jun said that his mum will be happy because she loved the song which was famous in the 1988ies.
After talking about their first album and the different songs composing them, they interpreted the song “I love you so much (네가 너무 좋아)” then the MV which was broadcasted after. They performed it. The number of members is an advantageous point since the performance leaves a strong impression. The song is very catchy, and makes us want to dance. It will also encourages some people to join a Baseball match.
They answered journalists’ questions and posed for cameras.

The group would love to win the Rookie Award but the fact that a lot of people will love their song is already a lot.
Daeyeol sends a message to INFINITE.
“I would like our group to be like yours, support us, thank you.”.
