N.FLYING are back to ask “How are you?”.
Today May 16th, group N.FLYING from FNC Entertainment, with members LEE SEUNG HYUB, KWON KWANG JIN, CHA HUN, KIM JAE HYUN and YOO HWE SEUNG, is back for its 4th mini-album “HOW ARE YOU?“.
This new mini-album contains 5 songs: the main title “How r u today“, “Up all night“, “팔불출“, “Anyway” et “너 없는 난“.
For this comeback, the group has worked with Steven Lee on “Up all night“, a producer who often works with SM Entertainment, as well as with Adrian Mckinnon who produced the song “4 Walls” for F(x).
The packaging of this 4th mini-album is simple, but effective. You will find, in the first part of the photobook, a light atmosphere that will take you directly to the sky and its pastel colors. The boys posing like angels in the clean decor. In the second part, you will find yourself in a huge caravan where the boys pose in all serenity. Of course, small gifts also await you inside this CD, such as: a photocard, stickers or a postcard.
This May 16th, 2018, at the Seoul Muv Hall in the Hongdae district, the group appears in front of the press to present its new record.
The first scene presented to us is the live performance of “How r u today“, the main title of this comeback. And it only takes one drum sound to directly put us in the mood of this title, with alternating rhythmic parts and more sentimental moments. The 5 boys bring us along. Their presence on stage is undeniable and they give their best from the first note.
They quickly move on to a second title, “Up all night“, for which LEE SEUNG HYUB participated in the writing of the lyrics.
Next, a preview of the MV for “How r u today” is shown, in a very natural scenery. The video was shot on the island of Jejudo, thus making us travel and giving us a feeling of intense freedom.
During the questions session, asked by the journalists, we learn that YOO HWE SEUNG, who participated in the survival Produce 101 S2, is still in contact with several of the boys who competed: “We have a sincere friendship“. Like him, some of the participants debuted in the groups WANNA ONE, JBJ or RAINZ.
For this comeback, the members replied that they had worked a lot for 4 months, around 8 hours a day, with perseverance and determination, which earned them the nickname “수액 요정” (which could be translated in English to “workaholics”).
With the large number of TV shows, they were asked which they would like to participate in:
- KIM JAE HYUN : 맛있는 녀석들 (Tasty guys),
- LEE SEUNG HYUB : 유희열의 스케치북 (Yoo Hee Yeol’s sketchbook),
- CHA UN : 불후의 명곡 (Immortal song),
- KWON KWANG JIN : 생생정보 (Live info show)
- YOO HWE SEUNG : 정글의 법칙 (Law of the jungle), because he thinks he can use his will as an idol warrior and that he loves nature and “hunting”.
CHA UN reveals that to get more sexy and show his sex appeal, he has lost 4kg ; with LEE SEUNG HYUB they changed hair color and with HWE SEUNG, he wears colored lenses for the first time in his life.
As you will understand, for this comeback, N.FLYING has worked their heart and soul to bring you the best and we can already say that they successfully met the challenge: this 4th mini-album, shows us an evolution in their music and a more mature and more precise side.
