The sentence fell on THE EAST LIGHT case.

KIM CHANG HWAN, President of Media Line Entertainment, and Producer MOON YOUNG IL were invited to serve prison sentences at the Third Appeals Hearing in the Child Abuse and Complicity Case against the members of THE EAST LIGHT.
The third hearing on the case of child abuse and complicity was held Wednesday morning at the Seoul District Central Court. At the hearing, KIM CHANG HWAN was sentenced to eight months in prison and MOON YOUNG IL to three years’ imprisonment. Media Line Entertainment was fined 20 million won (approximately 15,000 euros).
LEE SEOK CHEOL, a former member of THE EAST LIGHT, in October 2018, revealed that he had been verbally and physically abused by MOON YOUNGIL for four years and that KIM CHANG HWAN had helped him even though he knew about it. LEE SEOK CHEOL and LEE SEUNG HYUN’s brothers filed suit against MOON YOUNG IL, KIM CHANG HWAN and Lee Jung-hyun.
In the first trial last July, KIM CHANG HWAN was sentenced to two years in prison with overcharge. MOON YOUNG IL, who was charged with assault and other charges, was sentenced to two years in prison.
Both parties still have the opportunity to appeal the decisions. The deadline for the call is December 20th.
