On the same day, Ahn’s lawyer generally acknowledged the charges, but expressed his intention to fight legally to find out if guilt is established.
Counsel stated that there appears to be some misunderstanding as to whether he can recognize a fraudulent solicitation in the breach of trust, the amount of the breach of trust and the motive for the accused’s crime.
“The position of the defendants is that they will be punished for their wrongdoing, but they are receiving a lot of attacks through comments, so I hope that the disclosure will be minimized,” he said.
