BTS MV’s “Idol has surpassed 600 million views on YouTube. This makes BTS the group with the most clips with over 600 million views among Korean singers.
According to his agency Big Hit Entertainment, the MV for “Idol” exceeded 600 million views on YouTube around 7:04 am on January 12th.
BTS will have six clips with over 600 million views, including the remix “Idol“, “Mic Drop“, “DNA“, “Fire“, “Fake love” and “Boy With Love“. The clip for “DNA” recently exceeded 900 million views. The total number of views on BTS music videos is comparable to that of the world population.
“Idol” is the title song of the repackage album “LOVE YOURSELF 結 ANSWER“, released in August 2018. The colorful images and graphics are impressive, borrowing the tropical savannas and the lion games of Bukcheong.
“Idol” ranked 11th on the main board of the American Billboard, Hot 100, for three consecutive weeks.
