In the February 7th episode of “I can see your voice“, APINK appeared as a guest and did its best to find out the true identity of the singers.
“I can see your voice” is a Mnet program, where a panel of guests has to judge whether the candidates are really “good” or “bad” singers.
During one of the rounds, videos were broadcast in an attempt to prove the claimed identity of the candidates. APINK was surprised when BOMI‘s brother Yoon Jongjin suddenly appeared on screen to vouch for candidate Lee Yoonjae.
In his video Jongjin talked about the fact that Yoonjae is his closest friend in his theater company and that Lee Yoonjae was really talented. BOMI commented after watching “It was very much like the way Jongjin behaves when he is embarrassed, like he’s doing comedy”. However, she said that her brother seemed to be telling the truth.
To reveal his identity, Lee Yoonjae had to perform the famous song “This is the moment” from the musical “Jekyll & Hyde”.
Before it started, everyone was shocked to see BOMI‘s brother going up on stage. BOMI pointed to her brother, laughing, saying “What are you doing?”
Yoon Jongjin showed his powerful voice while he sang the first verse. But everyone was anxious to know if Lee Yoonjae would be able to sing as well as he did.
After the performance, the other guests congratulated Yoon Jongjin for his skills, and he shared that he was currently preparing to be an musical actor. As BOMI recovered from the shock, she applauded her brother and congratulated him by gesturing with his two thumbs. “He was so cool,” she said.
It was revealed that BOMI really didn’t know he was going to be on the show, to the point that he was even told that he would be working part-time at a convenience store that day.

In addition, one of the identities of competitor Lee Yoonjae was a golfer, having been a colleague of NAEUN‘s sister Son Saeeun. NAEUN was particularly shocked to find that this was true.
The hosts asked Yoon Jongjin to say something to BOMI. He started off by saying that he was preparing to become an actor, and EUNJI reminded that BOMI was really worried about this.
“I still haven’t been successful, but thank you for supporting me so much,” he told BOMI. He also expressed his love for her and BOMI started to cry.
