REN, member of the group NU’EST (JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren), unveiled the main poster of the musical “Jamie“.
Earlier, REN had gathered the expectations of many people by announcing the confirmation of his first appearance in a musical in his career with “Jamie“. As a result, the main poster containing REN‘s image in “Jamie” was released for the first time today (May 12), eliciting enthusiastic responses.
In the poster published, REN is dressed in a neat costume which combines navy and yellow and a carefully elaborated hairstyle, with a colorful and sensual make-up which on the other hand attracted even more the attention of the televiewers. In addition, REN‘s bright and luminous smile, with his eyes looking away, makes the spectator smile.
In particular, the poster exploits the joy and happiness that “Jamie” feels in jumping over the wall towards his dream and his challenges and realizes it, and REN expresses Jamie himself while reviving his own individuality.
A SHOWNOTE official also said: “With one poster, the character of Jamie and the charm of the actor were well expressed, and we wanted to do it all together. We expressed the message that the work wants to convey with the light energy of the actor. ”
Above all, with REN who is in his ninth year since his debut, the young man was loved by the public by showing his perfect interpretation on countless stages, whatever the concept, which gives a lot of credibility to Jamie, who will be highlighted with REN‘s personality, and his first challenge in a musical.
Based on a true story, the musical “Jamie” portrays the dream, the challenge and the love of this male game, a 17-year-old high school student who wants to become a queen of drag. It is the first performance in Asia of this musical, respecting the original British production.
Currently, NU’EST released their eighth mini-album “THE NOCTURNE” on May 11th, successfully completing their comeback, and will continue their promotional activities starting with “M Countdown” by Mnet on May 14th.
