BTOB
Another week full of contents ended yesterday. Here is a little summary.
For the Melodies (BTOB fandom name), it’s sometimes hard to follow the band activities, between the release of the first solo album of the leader SEO EUN KWANG, that the promotion just ended, the SNS updates and the news from the members currently serving. Let’s start with a little sumup from the members at the army :
SEO EUN KWANG : enlisted on 2018 August, 21st, discharged on 2020 April, 7th
LEE CHANG SUB : enlisted on 2019 January, 19th, to be discharged on 2020 August, 21st
LEE MIN HYUK : enlisted on 2019 February, 7th, to be discharged on 2020 September, 12th
LIM HYUN SIK : enlisted on 2020 May, 11th, to be discharged in 2021 November, 14th
YOOK SUNG JAE : enlisted on 2020 May, 11th, to be discharged in 2021 November, 14th
JUNG IL HOON : enlisted on 2020 May, 28th, to be discharged in 2022 February, 27th
BTOB is a band from CUBE Entertainment (PENTAGON, G-IDLE…) that debuted in 2012 with the song “Born to beat”. Actually, almost all of the members has released their solo albums (except PENIEL who released some songs on digital platforms). SEO EUN KWANG‘s album (the leader) just released, on June 8th, just got released and the singer is invited a lot on Tv Shows, Radio Shows and updates his SNS a lot. His first solo concert is about to happen online on July 18th. He will also be in a musical called “SOMETHING ROTTEN” starting in august. The vocalist and Maknae (youngest member) YOOK SUNG JAE, enlisted on May 11th, has played in a K-Drama (korean dramatical series) THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR the last episode got updated on digital platforms (including Netflix) on June 25th.
Monday, June 29th
The actress who shared the main roles with YOOK SUNG JAE, HWANG JUNG EUM, published a picture of her script of THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR where a sticker was on, showing YOOK SUNG JAE.
SEO EUN KWANG has been invited to the show SING STAY 2 that will be streamed on July 6th. You can find the link of the show on their Youtube Channel.
SEO EUN KWANG, during his interview at the show, a spoiled an information concerning his online concert that will happen on July 18th, revealing that there will be a stage with a dance space.
A video got released, on BTOB official SNS, promoting the first solo concert of SEO EUN KWANG : “WALK IN THE FOREST” while the tickets for the musical SOMETHING ROTTEN are now on sale on digital platforms.
To end this day, BTOB‘s leader made a live on the application SEEZN APP.
Tuesday, June 30th
The series THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR is top 3 on Netflix korean rankings, even since it’s been over for a few days.
Wednesday, July 1st
SEO EUN KWANG sang “Love again” on live on FANIJEOM studios.
The leader also appeared on a picture on the Instagram account of Ensoku365.
BTOB are nominated on THEK KING in the category “The idols you think of by summer”.
Thursday, July 2nd
Laboratories SOMEBYMI published a new picture for the promotion of their products, starring YOOK SUNG JAE.
Friday, July 3rd
The OST of THE MYSTIC POP-UP BAR is now available on sales.
The leader of the band sang “Have a nice day“ on live on SING STAY 2.
PENIEL is now part of the cast of DIVE STUDIOS as a radio DJ.
Saturday, July 4th
SEO EUNKWANG appeared in a interview for TV DAILY.
BTOB rated top 1 on THEK KING in the category “The idols you think of by summer”.
Sunday, July 5th
A soldier published a comment explaining he has enlisted at the same time than the rapper JUNG IL HOON. He explained he met JUNG IL HOON during a night guard and explaining the singer gave few chairs to the other soldiers, staying up himself so the others could rest.

The leader SEO EUNKWANG sang for JUVENILE DIABETES DAY.
