YOUNGJAE confirmed for Netflix’s new South Korean drama “So not worth it“.
The American streaming platform Netflix has officially announced the production of a new project on its official networks. Having launched for a few years in South Korean cinema, the platform connects projects between dramas, documentaries and programs.
For its upcoming South Korean original series, Netflix has announced the production of a drama titled “So not worth it”. The platform and the agency JYP Entertainmnent announced in an official press release the presence of YOUNGJAE, lead vocalist of the South Korean kpop boy group GOT7 in the cast.
This youth comedy illustrates the daily life of multicultural students in an international dormitory in Seoul who juggle studies, love and friendship.
YOUNGJAE‘s role was officially portrayed as “Sam”, the charming son of Australia-based Tteokbokki’s president of a global food chain 🇦🇺.
In the cast we will find (from left to right) YOUNGJAE from GOT7, Nicha Yontararak alias Minnie from Thailand and member of the South Korean girl group of kpop (G) I-DLE who will play the role of a Thai student fan of K- drama as well as actress Park Se Wan who will play the role of resident advisor in charge of the dormitory and actors Shin Hyun Seung who will play the role of “Jamie” a mysterious new student who hides a secret and Han Hyun Min who will play the role of a South Korean student from the provinces impatient to join the dormitory.
Singer, dancer, songwriter and producer, YOUNGJAE is officially the second member of GOT7 to start his acting career after JINYOUNG.
The idol has officially expressed himself affirming with enthusiasm his impatience for this next role, five years after “Dream knight”, drama of twelve episodes bringing together all the members of GOT7. An official launch into the world of cinema for the idol who adds a new string to his bow.

The sitcom, co-written by screenwriters Seo Eun Jeong and Baek Ji Hyun, is commissioned by producer Kwon Ik Joon and director Kim Jung Sik and will be produced by Mystic Story, an entertainment company from South Korean agency SM Entertainment.
