BTS and MAMAMOO were chosen as the finalist group for the final votes for the 30th Who’s Fandom at the Seoul Music Awards.
Global K-pop fandom platform Whosfandom unveiled the finalists for the 30th Seoul whosfandom awards on the afternoon of December 27th. He officially announced that the “Top 4” votes were over, and released the 2 finalists.
Fans of BTS, GOT7, EXO and MAMAMOO each voted in the votes for the “Top 4”, which took place from 2pm on December 26th. And in the end, BTS won 59.40% of the vote and MAMAMOO 60.48% of the vote, making them the contenders for the final.
As the vote for the “Who’s Fandom Award” draws to a close, the vote was also very impressive. At the start of the vote, where BTS and GOT7 were competing for first place, GOT7 dominated and widened the gap. But in the early morning of December 27th, BTS’s ARMY fandom increased in firepower and caught up with the gap, creating a knockdown.
The vote, which took place between EXO and MAMAMOO as candidates, was fierce from the start. EXO appeared to be widening the gap with a majority of the votes, but in the middle of voting time the rankings were reversed by the enthusiastic participation of MAMAMOO’s fandom, MooMoo on the morning of December 27th.
BTS and MAMAMOO, who will pass the final vote for the “Who’s Fandom Award“, will compete on the Who’s Fan mobile app for the #1 spot from 2pm on December 30th and until 2pm on December 31st. As both candidates had a very high turnout from domestic and foreign fandoms, the results are already attracting significant attention.
Meanwhile, EXO and GOT7, who finished second in the votes in the semi-finals, will face off for third place in the Who’s Fandom Award. Voting will begin at 2 pm tomorrow, and the group that wins the vote will be ranked third in the Whosfandom and will be rewarded with ads in New York, Times Square, along with BTS and MAMAMOO.
