NU’EST: 1st award of 2021

The group NU’EST (JR, ARON, REN, MINHYUN, BAEKHO) won the Golden Choice Award.

On January 9 was held the 35th Golden Disc Award with LEE SEUNG GI and PARK SO DAM as MCs. On this day, NU’EST won the Golden Choice Award. During the award ceremony, JR said ” 2020 has gone and 2021 has arrived, and it’s thanks to LOVEs, who have given us all their love despite these difficult times, that we were able to win such a meaningful award. Thank you. We hope there will be many good things to come, and we hope the day we can perform and share stories in the same space will come soon. “.

BAEKHO said, “We want to sincerely thank our agency, and we will work hard to be singers who are befitting of the award we received today“.

REN added : “Last year was quite a hard year for everyone, and I hope this year will be a year where we don’t have to wear masks anymore, and I hope everyone will stay healthy. We’re so happy and it’s an honor. Happy new year, and we hope you will always be healthy and happy“

Finally, MINHYUN added “We want to thank LOVEs and everyone else who helped us start 2021 with such a great award. Today, four of us are performing on stage. We hope that ARON, who is watching from home, will get better soon so we can stand on stage together as five again.”
