BigHit Entertainment has released a video teaser to announce the release of BTS’s Winter Package 2021.
The Winter Package series saw the light of day last year and replaces the series that is its total opposite, the Summer Package, which had been released annually since 2014, the year after the group’s debut. These boxes made it possible to broadcast the group’s summer vacations in various major cities and islands around the world (Saipan, Palawan, Dubai, etc.). Although these previous trips were under the sign of the sun, for the past two years, BTS has been taking the ARMYs, the name of the fandom, to the mountains and under the snow.
This year, Big hit Entertainment revealed through a video teaser some magnificent landscapes of the Korean province of Gangwon, place of their trip this winter.
For the moment, no information on the release date or the theme and content of the box set, which is often accompanied by goodies bearing the band’s image, has been revealed to the general public.
It is however possible during the minute and the few seconds of the video teaser, to notice an inspiration, or at least a reference, to the drama “Goblin”. Indeed, although the place and the manner are different, BTS takes again one of the cult scenes of the drama, that of the wish of the main female character, by blowing a match in front of the camera. In addition, the place of their trip is also the location of the said drama. The information that is to come will surely provide a better understanding of the intention behind this scene.
While waiting for the release of the Winter Package, it is possible to pre-order from today (January 26) their latest album “BE (essential edition)“.
