MIRAE: The new future of kpop

DSP Media will launch a new seven-member idol group called MIRAE.

DSP Media announced this morning of February 1st by posting a video of the MIRAE’s logo, via various official SNS, the debut of the group.

In the published video you can see the sensual logo of the future boy group made against the background of a mysterious universe. In particular, among Korean consonants, the unique logo, which is complemented by facing each other, the initials of the future boy group, ‘ㅁ’ ‘ㄹ’ ‘ㅅ’ ‘ㄴ’, are displayed before your eyes. In addition, the English name “MIRAE”, which displaced the Korean word “미래”, was also released, attracting enthusiastic responses from global K-pop fans.

“MIRAE” is a name which suggests a new future for K-POP and gives you a strong desire to discover a united group for the future. The group also expressed its desire to be able to breathe with the audience and move forward into the future.

From the release of the logo video, MIRAE will launch a first promotion. From February 2nd, we plan to unveil the 7 members via our YouTube channel and our official SNS. The photos should be released at midnight and the video teasers at 12 noon.

Following the disclosure of its members, the group is expected to feature their own varied content on Naver’s V LIVE channel and YouTube from the middle of this month. It will vividly convey the sense of entertainment of the members as well as the first process of “Super Rookie” that MIRAE has prepared through a reality show consisting of a total of eight episodes.
