SEONGHWA : Happy birthday to ATEEZ’ seductive singer

On April 3, we are celebrating the birthday of ATEEZ‘s oldest member, PARK SEONGHWA.

SEONGHWA is known to be a singer and dancer, member of ATEEZ. He likes cooking, he doesn’t like coffee and his hobby is to clean, something that his co-members appreciate a lot. With HONGJOONG, they are considered as ATEEZ‘s parents because they are the oldest ones and they take care of the others but also scold them when needed.

Before being a member of ATEEZ, SEONGHWA participated in KQ’s project based on the agency’s trainees. Under the name KQ Fellaz, the agency posted videos to promote them and reveal the end of their trainee days. Indeed, in 2018, they went to Los Angeles in order to take many dance classes at the “Millennium Dance Complex”. At this time, they gained popularity even before their debuts thanks to the video under. The eight young men were able to show their unique dance style for a rookie boy group and impressed many people online.

On October 24, 2018, the trainees became members of ATEEZ and released the first mini-album of a serie of comebacks on the theme “TREASURE”. After promoting with “Pirate king” and then “Say my name”, the group made a few performances with title-song “HALA HALA” which was a success. In 2019, ATEEZ sold-out a European and American tour which is unique for a young k-pop group. SEONGHWA, as for his co-members, made a lot of comebacks in two years and they all ended their concept “TREASURE” with title-song “Answer” in January 2020.

Between two comebacks in early 2020, the group was still close to the fans thanks to videos, awards, entertainment shows, covers and fan concerts. Then, they released a new mini-album starting a new theme “FEVER”. The new title-song “Inception” had a complete new style that was quite unique for the group.

SEONGHWA is considered as an artist with many talents since he can sing, dance and rap. Indeed, he had to debute as a rapper but he ended up being one of ATEEZ‘s vocals. He also has a great stage presence and is able to captivate people when he is one stage. His outfits, hair styles, seductive moves and facial expressions became more and more popular and attracted people’s attention. It was with “Inception”‘s promotions in July 2020 that SEONGHWA became a hot topic thanks to his stage presence and also because he had to lift his shirt during the chorus part of the choreography. The young man said that he had to work out a lot during a few months to be able to lift his shirt with this confidence. He is now promoting with his co-members a new mini-album as well as appearing in show “Kingdom” which started on April 1st.
