BLACKPINK’s “How you like that” dance video has surpassed 700 million views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s “How you like that” performabnce video surpassed 700 million views on YouTube as of 7 am on May 24th. Approximately 323 days after its release on July 6th of last year. BLACKPINK is the first group to reach 700 million views for a K-pop performance video.
BLACKPINK’s “How you like that” performance video reached 100 million views in 15 days, 200 million views in 45 days, 300 million views in 76 days, 400 million views in 120 days, 500 million views in 183 days and 600 million views in 250 days. The 700 million views also showed a steady rate of progression.
“How you like that“, which has an impressive rhythm, is a song which contains the message that they should rise up without being discouraged by any situation. The track won the “Summer song” at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards in the United States and was selected as the world’s best summer song by YouTube.
At the time of its release, the song ranked second in Spotify’s global top 50 as well as the country’s major music charts “Perfect All Kill” and No. 1 in 64 iTunes countries, such as the United States. It has also proven its global presence by ranking 20th and 33rd on the official UK Top 100 and Billboard Hot 100, respectively.
