CL, a former member of the group 2NE1, signed a contract with Kang Daniel’s agency Konnect Entertainment, garnering attention.

On July 10th, CL directly reported via her SNS that she had signed a contract with Konnect Entertainment for activities in South Korea. CL announced the release of her first solo album “ALPHA” and signed a partnership with Korean management.

CL said, “I am publishing this post to introduce my partner Konnect Entertainment, who will be in charge of supporting my promotional activities for ‘ALPHA’ and home management with Very Cherry in Korea.“
“I can’t wait to meet fans with a team that supports me just like Very Cherry. After thinking about how to communicate with more people, especially the domestic fans who haven’t welcomed me for a long time,” said she declared.
“Very Cherry and I will continue to work together in various ways with no limits, so look forward to me,” she said.
CL continued her solo career with the new label Very Cherry, leaving YG Entertainment to the past. With the release of her first full-length solo album, she teamed up with Konnect Entertainment, of which Kang Daniel belongs, for domestic activities.
Founded in 2019, Konnect Entertainment is growing rapidly with its artist Kang Daniel. Konnect Entertainment also said that CL is responsible for running her domestic business. “We will actively support CL so that she can actively engage in musical activities as a high level artist.”
While a synergy between CL and Konnect Entertainment is expected, attention is focused on CL’s domestic activities.
