J-HOON, of his real name, IM JUNG HOON, is born on July 15, 1990, in Seoul, South-Korea. He debuted on July 9, 2014, in the group B.I.G of the Gh Entertainment and became the leader, as well as the main dancer and singer, he debuted with the single “Hello”.
During several years, J-HOON practiced many dance styles, it is by the way his dance talents that will be highlighter in the member presentation videos of the group, just before their debut. Prior to debut, he practiced street-dance, J-HOON was already using his stage name as it is today.
Before his debut, he was teaching Popping in a dance school to kids, moreover in 2020, he retransformed himself into a dance teacher, by learning to B.I.G‘s maknae, JINSEOK, this dance style.

J-HOON likes to watch movies in his free time but also read comics and play video games. e really likes coffee and especially vanilla iced lattes. His family, friends and fans are very important to him.
J-HOON is often described as the funniest member of B.I.G, adapting very well to the variety shows and provoking laughter from members and fans alike. J-HOON also demonstrated in The Immigration, that he had a real talent for imitating a dinosaur. He has always brought joy through the many V-Lives he shared with fans. The B.I.G project program dedicated to the group is a very good way to discover more about him.

J-HOON played one of the lead roles in the web-drama Idol protect the World alongside HEEDO, released in 2015.
J-HOON participated in all the group’s activities and comebacks until the announcement of his departure to the army on November 15, 2018. His last comeback with the band was with the mini album “HELLO-HELLO” and the eponymous title song on May 23, 2017.
Nevertheless, J-HOON completed his military service on December 19, 2020 and is back with B.I.G, to the delight of fans who are very happy to see the leader back.
