YG Entertainment released the official trailer for AKMU’s new album “NEXT EPISODE” on its official blog on July 16th.
Constantly falling LEE CHAN HYUK, LEE SOO HYUN in an upside down room, children in a black and white world, and surreal scenes reminiscent of fantasy movies are quickly broadcast and chained to stimulate viewers’ curiosity.
AKMU has gone one step further from the existing promotion method of posting music videos only for the title tracks. All seven songs on the album were produced with official video and its storytelling is organic.
YG Entertainment said, “As this is AKMU’s first collaboration album with excellent completeness, we have decided to feature seven official videos for all songs,” and added, “We plan to release them sequentially through the following.”
AKMU’s transformation, which supports listeners with lyrical melodies, has also become a topic of interest. Because the two men in the official video give off a rather chic aura. We can’t wait to figure out what the scenes in the trailer will mean and what kind of musical world AKMU will unveil with this album.
AKMU’s album features luxurious lineup featuring IU, Lee Sunhee, Zion.T, Beenzino, Jannabi’s Choi Jung hoon, Crush and Sam Kim. In addition to the title track from the album “Fall”, the songs “Battlefield”, “Bench”, “Tick-Tock“, “Fight”, “Stupid love song” and “Everest” will be released on July 26th.
