APINK: A very happy birthday to OH HAYOUNG

OH HAYOUNG, born July 19th, 1996 in Seoul, singer, dancer and maknae of girl group APINK, is turning 25 today.

She was at Seoul Arts High School and then an intern for a year and a half before debuting with APINK, as a high school singer and dancer.

HAYOUNG was introduced as the third member and maknae (youngest member) of girl group APINK on February 21st, 2011. In 2015, she wrote the lyrics for the song “What a boy wants” included in the group’s second album “PINK MEMORY“.

In 2013, HAYOUNG played the lead female role in the music video for the song “1440” by Huh Gak. She also played the female lead role in Shin Bora’s single “Frozen” with CNU from B1A4, which was the male lead. In July 2014, she appeared in the music video for Jiggy Dogg’s single “The best thing I did” while also collaborating there.

In 2014, HAYOUNG appeared in some episodes of the “Weekly Idol” variety show as an MC with YOON BOMI. In August 2015, she was named co-MC on “Weekly Idol” with Mina from AOA and N from VIXX, starting September 2nd. In 2016, she joined the cast for SBS’s “Law of the Jungle” reality TV show which took place in the jungles of Papua New Guinea.

In November 2016, it was revealed that HAYOUNG would be making her debut as an actress in the web drama “Brother Jeongnam“, which will air on KBS2 and KBS World, whose title later became “Find her“. The webseries aired on March 1st, 2017 in two 60-minute episodes. She also starred in the drama “Love memory” in 2018.
