TOP MEDIA announced on its official website today that the exclusive contract between NIEL and CHANGJO of TEEN TOP will end on January 10, 2022.
TOP MEDIA said:
“We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract of NIEL and CHANGJO, who have been with us for 12 years, will end on January 10, 2022″,
and added: “After a long and careful discussion, we have decided not to renew the contract afterwards.“
Further, he said, “Even after the end of the contract, all members of TEEN TOP, as well as NIEL and CHANGJO, have agreed to join us in the future activities of TEEN TOP, based on deep affection and trust for the group,” adding: “We sincerely want to thank the artists NIEL and CHANGJO, who will continue to be active as good artists.“
Meanwhile, NIEL will release a solo song as his final project with TOP MEDIA in mid-January 2022, while the two sincerely expressed his feelings regarding the end of his contract and future activities through a handwritten letter.
