Group FROMIS_9 will start its activities in earnest with its new song “DM”.
FROMIS_9 will be on MBC M’s “Show Champion” today. The group will appear on the show and perform the title track “DM” from its fourth mini album “MIDNIGHT GUEST.”
The new song “DM” is a song that sings the excitement of when FROMIS_9 boldly confesses its love to a person who managed to escape early in the morning, and is of a pop genre that stands out with a progression sentimental chords and a funky bassline. On a sparkling night on the town, you may get a feeling, pounding, as if love is about to begin in earnest.
FROMIS_9 will deliver a more intense and heart-pounding performance through this new song. After the artwork-like intro, it will be fun to see the choreography with a variety of unit combinations. Expectations are high for the performance which showcases the perfect harmony of the members of FROMIS_9, which is delicately expressed right down to the fingertips.
In particular, the members said during a media showcase to commemorate the release of “MIDNIGHT GUEST” on January 17,
“The important point is the “dance look” which inevitably makes you mirror the lyrics of the chorus. It consists of a choreography that many people can easily follow”,
drawing particular attention to the kind of performance FROMIS_9 will perform.
FROMIS_9 ranked all songs included in the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund from 1st to 5th place as well as a 1st place on the realtime charts on Bugs, a major national music chart, with “DM”. The new album “MIDNIGHT GUEST” broke the group’s initial record by achieving nearly 50,000 sales in a single day after its release. The album is also gaining popularity as it tops the real-time and daily album charts on Hanteo Chart, a website that counts album sales.
