Today, THE BOYZ released a new soundtrack entitled “Echo” with its MV as a collaboration with webtoon “Solo Leveling”.
THE BOYZ unveiled a new soundtrack “Echo” for the popular webtoon “Solo Leveling”. This song made by famous producers WonTake, TAK, Beatie and Corbin, is powerful and has a trap rhythm with rock vibes. This song expresses the inner feelings of the webtoon’s main character, Seong Jin-woo. He is a lonely young hunter of creatures which appear from magical portals, and he has to level up to become stronger, hence the name of the webtoon “Solo Leveling”.
The background of the MV for “Echo” is a breathtaking performance with fight scenes which remind us of the webtoon’ storyline. The members of THE BOYZ can be seen fighting merciless creatures with weapons as they are in a dungeon typical of the universe of this webtoon. The members are acting as hunters, handling the weapons with dexterity and the whole thing is reinforced by an amazing setting and special effects giving life to the webtoon’s characters. We can even see JUYEON taking on the role of Seong Jin-woo when his eyes take a bluish color as he says the famous sentence “Arise !” to summon creatures that will fight with him. In addition to the powerful choreography performed by THE BOYZ and the pleasure of watching their acting skills, the MV seems to have brought to life the universe of this webtoon.
