ONEUS: Energy to shake

The group ONEUS will return with a powerful new song.

On May 12, RBW, the group’s agency, released a teaser of the music video for ONEUS (Ravn, Seo Ho, Lee Do, Keon Hee, Hwan Woong, and Xion)’s seventh mini album “TRICKSTER” on its official SNS, raising expectations for its return. In the released video, parts of the new song with more mature member visuals and an addictive melody were unveiled, captivating the eyes and ears of fans.

The appearance of the ONEUS members wearing a mask at the start and being kidnapped escalates the tension. The group then gave a strong impact by performing a flawless group dance and powerful performance with bold lyrics such as “다 들어와” and “덤벼”.

In particular, it raised questions about the meaning of Pierrot’s cards and faces appearing throughout the video. ONEUS’ colorful style and addictive melody raised expectations for the main music video.

ONEUS will release their seventh mini album “TRICKSTER” on May 17. This album continues the narration of the first full album “DEVIL” released last year.

If a first message was delivered via the album “DEVIL”,Do what you really want“, the album will put forward a hopeful slogan, “We are all the main characters who deserve a happy ending” , with the message “You can face a turning point in your life with only one choice.”

Moreover, since the name of the album “TRICKSTER” refers to something or someone that does not let us know how things will end, it contains a strong ambition to become a “hidden card” of K- pop through this album.

The title track “Bring it on” was led by producer Kim Do-hoon, followed by RBW hitmakers Lee Sang-ho and Seo Yong-bae, and Inner Child (Mono Tree) contributed lyrics.

The candid rap and delicate verse of ONEUS-turned-“TRICKSTER” that shakes up the system and leaves the ending hanging in the air will unfold with a lively feel. Based on the strong storytelling of ONEUS, it will show overwhelming performance.

ONEUS’ seventh mini album “TRICKSTER” will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on May 17.
