Today at midnight KST, ATEEZ announced the first trailer of « THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT » album on its SNS.
After releasing its first concept photos, ATEEZ reveals today the first two surprises planned in its promotional schedule. July 10 corresponds to the « The Awakening of Summer » poster release, while July 11 corresponds to « THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT » album trailer release.
On this poster, announcing the album trailer release, we can see several peoples from behind gathered in an industrial area. Unlike the concept photos’ characters, they are only dressed in white, creating a specific contrast with « HALA HALA » characters.
Moreover, the poster title, « The Awakening of Summer », is a new direct reference to ATEEZ‘s « 리듬 타 (The Awakening of Summer) » performance for the show « KINGDOM : legendary war » just like the masks and posters seen in the concept photos released this week.
Soon after the release of this poster, ATEEZ released the first trailer of « THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT » album. In the latter, we can hear a speech broadcast in front of young students listening intently. In parallel, ATEEZ members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) are preparing to launch an attack against the entity carrying this speech. The discourse aims to format these young people pushing them not to question the « perfect » world in which they live before HONGJOONG takes control of it to force them to investigate and call them to revolt.
Thereby, this very mysterious poster and trailer increase considerably the anticipation around « THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT » album released July 29.
