On August 21, ATEEZ presented a remarkable performance at KCON 2022 in Los Angeles.
For the first time in three years, the famous K-pop festival, KCON, took place physically in several cities such as Chicago, Tokyo, and Seoul. KCON welcomed 90,000 fans to the LA Convention Center for this new edition. As a guest for the first day of KCON 2022 LA, ATEEZ presented an unforgettable performance in front of worldwide k-pop fans.
ATEEZ members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) opened the festival, and celebrated this tenth anniversary in style with KCON 2022‘s signature song « Poppia », a pop-rock song that derives its title from a contraction of the word « K-pop » and « Utopia ».
The group then followed up with « WONDERLAND: Symphony No.9 ‘from the wonderland’ », « Say my name » and « HALA HALA (Hearts Awakened, Live Alive) » setting the Californian scene on fire. A scene refreshed with the performance of « Wave », which was an opportunity for the group to walk through the scene and create a unique and friendly moment with fans.
Before concluding its performance, ATEEZ presented « Guerrilla », the title track from its latest album, « THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT ». This performance captured the public’s attention. The latter was attracted by the remarkable presence of the members on stage and, more particularly, by their energy still present after five songs. Energy is still on fire during the final performance of « Rocky » et « The real (Heung Ver.) » ( « 멋 (興 Ver.) »), which conquered an already particularly heated room.
Indeed, the public in Los Angeles congratulated and encouraged ATEEZ many times during its performance, revealing a taste of the group’s following world tour. « THE FELLOWSHIP : BREAK THE WALL » world tour will, for now, stop by South Korea on October 29 and 30 in Seoul, by the United States in Anaheim, Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, Atlanta, and Newark from 7 to November 28, by Canada in Toronto on December 2 and by Japan in Chiba on December 11 and 12.
Before its new world tour, ATEEZ will reunite with its fans at K-pop land 2022 in Jakarta on September 16.
