NEWS: The PCR is over

Very good news for all travelers arriving in South Korea.

Since October 1, when you arrive on Korean soil, you will no longer need to perform a PCR test (80,000 won). A moment expected by tourists because it was not necessarily something pleasant and it will also allow a small saving of around 60 euros.

South Korea had lifted the PCR test requirement in departure countries for inbound travelers since September 3. This new measure will therefore be the last step in the plan to ease the restrictive measures for international travellers.

« If ever another more contagious variant of Covid-19 appears, it is possible that this obligation will be reintroduced depending on the need for preventive management of incoming flows. »

As the government has announced in the event of an increase in contamination, the measures could be put back in place.

The situation being for the moment on a positive improvement, the Korean government hopes to be able to revive tourism little by little, among other things.
