AB6IX: DAE HWI is in the final of “Listen up”
AB6IX member LEE DAE HWI has become the latest six-member producer of KBS2’s “Listen up.”
KBS2’s “Listen up” producer contest program is a battle program in which top Korean producers come together to compete for music charts, with LEE DAE HWI, Pateko, Ryan S Jhun, Big Naugty, Jungkey, and Paloalto joining qualifying for the final. LEE DAE HWI will prepare for the final performance with his junior band YOUNITE.
LEE DAE HWI expressed his ambition in the program saying, “I will show good music as a producer, not as a singer.” He set up a big stage with Weekly, Song Ha Ye, Ghost9, and DKZ to showcase a wide musical spectrum and attract attention.
In the third round of working with producer Doko, he topped the list, recording the highest score in on-site voting history. In the semi-final in the fifth round, where he himself took the stage, he won first place with a spectacular performance and qualified for the final by proving the title of “Allrounder”.
LEE DAE HWI, the main producer of “Complete Artist Idol” AB6IX, has been a popular songwriter representing the K-pop scene by participating as a producer in various artists’ albums such as “It’s ok not to be ok” by As One, Yoon Ji Sung’s “Summer drive” and IZ*ONE’s “Airplane”.
The “P.S.I Miss You” scene, which AB6IX’s LEE DAE HWI will direct with YOUNITE, will air at 10:35 p.m. on October 8, and AB6IX (Jeon Woong, Kim Dong Hyun, Park Woo Jin, and Lee Dae Hwi) did a return with the sixth EP album “TAKE A CHANCE” on October 4th.
