The key choreography point also drew attention. In “Gotcha”, they presented various heart gestures matched to the lyrics “Love”, while in “Hanamaru”, they expressed the energy of youth through lyrics and a performance containing an encouraging message.
VIBY kicked off its activities on Korean music shows after releasing the Korean versions of both songs on October 26. By reintroducing in Korean tracks first presented in Japan, they are expanding their points of contact with Korean fans.
VIBY is the first boy group from the new label RII.MJ, headed by general producer Kim Mi Jung. The five members coming from all across Japan underwent about 2 years of vocal and dance training in Korea before making their official debut in Japan on June 24.
Just 68 days after their debut, they held a showcase at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, which has a capacity of about 10,000 seats. The agency explained that this was the fastest entry record to the Budokan in history for a Japanese artist.
After consolidating its activity bases in Japan and then extending its scope of action to Korean music shows, VIBY plans to pursue communication with Korean fans through various web content in the future.
