WONHO: It’s time to do his military service
Singer WONHO, a former member of MONSTA X, will fulfill his national defense obligations.
WONHO’s agency, Highline Entertainment, said in a press release on November 16, “WONHO will begin service as a social worker from December 5, 2022 and fulfill national defense obligations,” adding, “We will do our best during the period of military service and ask for warm support and attention for WONHO, who will come back more mature.”
WONHO sent a message to his fans via the fan cafe.
He said: “I’m going to prepare a lot of things so that the Wenees don’t get bored, so I hope you can spend these moments happily waiting for each other while relaxing a little. Can you wait for a little ?” emphasizing the meeting after military service.
He then said, “My Wenees are celebrating the first Christmas without me since we met. After the winter comes the spring, and after the season comes the summer of the following year, the day I sang the Wenees for the first time. On the same day, I will return to the Wenees as cool as that day,” conveying a warm message to the fans.
WONHO debuted as a member of MONSTA X in 2015 and became a solo singer after leaving the group in 2019.
