HIGHLIGHT’s LEE GI KWANG will release a solo album in April.
On March 10, Around Us Entertainment said, “LEE GI KWANG is preparing a solo album with the aim of releasing it in April. We still ask for your patience for the solo album which captures both the strengths and the new charms of LEE GI KWANG“.
LEE GI KWANG started his full-fledged career as a solo artist through his first mini album “ONE” in 2017, and in 2019 he released two digital singles “I” and “GOODBYE WITH A SMILE“. He has since announced his return as a soloist for the first time in over four years.
In particular, as LEE GI KWANG is the group’s main dancer in his 15th career year, the focus is on his first solo performance.
Additionally, LEE GI KWANG has proven his abilities as a producer and singer-songwriter by including a number of self-composed songs on HIGHLIGHT’s recent albums, including its third mini album “THE BLOWING” and its first full album “DAYDREAM” and “AFTER SUNSET“. As a result, expectations for the completion of LEE GI KWANG‘s solo album are even higher.
LEE GI KWANG actively communicates with the public as DJ of KBS Cool FM’s “Lee Ki-kwang’s Music Plaza” and judge of JTBC’s “Peak Time”.
