ATEEZ: SEONGHWA unveils a surprise for his 26th birthday

Yesterday, April 4, 2023, was SEONGHWA‘s birthday. For this occasion, the eldest member of ATEEZ has prepared a surprise for his fans.

From April 3 at midnight, several hashtags such as « #벚꽃이_만개한_성화의_봄날 » or « #AllRounderSeonghwaDay » became trending on Twitter. SEONGHWA, who received birthday messages from all over the world, warmly thanked his fans by posting a cover of Troye Sivan‘s « Angel baby » on the group’s YouTube channel.

The clip of this cover contains footage of SEONGHWA in different cities in Europe. Fans were then able to recognize Paris, London or Madrid and remember « THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL » European tour which ended last month.

In this cover, SEONGHWA particularly focused on the lyrics and the emotions transmitted by them. We can find lyrics like « Give him my all when I don’t even have it » or « Baby, you’re my angel / I fall in love with the little things », which perfectly illustrates the ATEEZ singer’s feelings towards ATINYs (fandom name).

Moreover, this is the second year in a row that SEONGHWA has surprised his fans. Last year, ATINYs were able to discover and enjoy a cover of Pink Sweat$‘s « At my worst » bringing even more fans’ attention to this new cover.

In addition to this surprise, SEONGHWA organized a birthday party with ATINYs through a YouTube live and prepared various activities, like a quiz about his childhood, to get closer to his fans.

Finally, ATEEZ, the group of which SEONGHWA is a part, will organize an « Anchor » for « THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL » world tour at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on April 28th and 29th.
