Singer MADDOX appeared on the 600th episode of KBS2’s music show « Immortal Songs 2 », featuring legend Sim Soobong, which aired on the afternoon of April 1.
MADDOX, who previously appeared in the special « Kim Johan » episode of « Immortal Songs 2 », where he earned the nickname « Little Kim Johan », said in this 600th episode:
« Since the last appearance, there had many invitations to the event. I appeared once more to continue this atmosphere. »
MADDOX, who was dressed in a black suit that day, selected Sim Soobong’s song « The Man From Back Then (그때 그 사람)» and performed it in a jazz style. His sweet voice surprised everyone, it wonderfully accompanied the melody of the saxophone coupled with the piano’s one to create a pleasant atmosphere.
In response, singer Sim Soobong gave rave reviews following his performance by saying: « I expected it, but it was more beautiful than I thought. » Thus, thanks to his vocal prowess, MADDOX won the first round against the K-Pop group NMIXX.
Meanwhile, MADDOX recently participated in the debut album « HOUSE OF TRICKY: Doorbell Ringing » by new KQ Entertainment agency group Xikers as lyricist and composer.
