The group (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) is making a comeback.
Cube Entertainment‘s agency told media on April 13 that “(G)I-DLE is gearing up for a comeback in May. The album will be released later. Please be very careful,” in an official statement.
It’s been about seven months since (G)I-DLE made its comeback. Earlier on October 17 last year, the group released its fifth mini album “I LOVE” and worked with the title track “Nxde.”
(G)I-DLE entered the US Billboard “Billboard 200” main album chart at #71 with its latest album and surpassed 678,000 album sales in the first week of release. (G)I-DLE‘s name on the “Billboard 200” chart was a feat achieved in the four years since debuting with his first mini album “I AM” in 2018.
Moreover, the title track “Nxde” proved its strong popularity by dominating major music charts such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo for about two weeks.
