VICTON
IST Entertainment has expired its exclusive contract with some of its artists, members of VICTON.
IST Entertainment officially announced on April 20 that “members VICTON, DO HANSE, CHOI BYUNGCHAN, and JUNG SUBIN will end their management work with our company as their exclusive contracts expire today.”
“Following extensive discussions with the members over a long period of time before the contract expired, we made this decision out of mutual respect for each other’s wishes,” it said.
Further, the agency said, “HAN SEUNG WOO, who was recently discharged from the military, KANG SEUNG SIK, who is serving in the military, and LIM SEJUN, who is about to join the military in June, will maintain their artist status with our agency for the time being.”
The agency explained, “The three young men will continue with their planned schedules such as solo activities and current musicals, while actively supporting them in various ways so that they can meet the public through various activities.”

The agency did not mention the continuation for the group activities, but it seems that unfortunately, the three artists changing agency, will concentrate on their career in solo and thus possibly leave the group.
