On June 12, midnight KST, ATEEZ released new individual photos for the album, « THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW », on its SNS.
A few days away from its comeback, ATEEZ unveiled a final concept photo by posting a group photo on its official SNS that got a huge reaction from fans. We find on the latter the eight ATEEZ members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) from behind, except HONGJOONG, who looks in the direction of the lens attracting the eye of the viewer.
Unlike previous photo concepts, this new photo takes place in sleek, stylized white decor. ATEEZ members are also dressed in a white outfit with a crest on the chest of a school well-known by ATINYs (fandom name). This is the Prestige Academy school uniform that appeared in the « Guerrilla » music video and the « THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT » album.
In this music video and « THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT » diary, we learn the Prestige Academy is a school run by Strickland to control the population from an early age. A school that ATEEZ members had decided to infiltrate at the end of the diary to carry out their revolution.
In the bottom right corner of the photo, there is an inscription that reads « Accepted ». It suggests that the members have successfully infiltrated the school in the second opus of « THE WORLD » series, which has piqued the curiosity of fans about the upcoming plot.
Finally, ATEEZ will return with a new album, « THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW », on June 16th.
