LIM DO HWA and her mother appeared on tvN’s “프리한 닥터 (Free Doctor)” which aired on June 19.
LIM DO HWA recently changed her name from Chan Mi to LIM DO HWA, attracting attention. When asked why she changed her name, she replied, “My mother raised me after my parents divorced. Since my mother was born and she influenced me, I thought that it would be fairer to continue with my mother’s name“. Her mother said, “I was scared when I changed my name because I wanted to forget the painful memory I had of his father. I spoke to her and she told me that she had changed her name for a fresh start. I want to encourage her.”
LIM DO HWA said that she became a singer thanks to her mother. “When I was young, my mother, who was raising three children on her own, seemed to struggle. I thought it was important to get a job quickly, so I worked quickly and became a celebrity.” Oh Sang Jin nodded, saying, “She’s a girl with a big heart,” and her mom said, “I’m sorry she grew up so fast.”

LIM DO HWA said, “I appear because I have a chance to be a singer. I met my friends who are active after a long time, and they were all so thin. On average, we were thinner than when we were active. I couldn’t do it like that, so I went back to managing my weight,” showing her willingness to diet.
