MONSTA X‘s JOOHEON joins the army.

JOOHEON enters the training center on July 24 and receives basic military training before fulfilling his military service obligations as an active member of the army.
Starship Entertainment previously announced that no separate official event would take place to minimize congestion.
JOOHEON announced the news of his military enlistment on the official fan cafe on July 11. JOOHEON said, “Military service is what I have to do,” adding, “I will come back bravely and safely. I’m not leaving for good, so don’t worry, look at the sky every day and think about JOOHEON once a day.”

JOOHEON then said, “I’ll show you a great performance when I return,” adding, “I think time has its ‘commas (pause)’. Take a ‘comma’ in this short, non-stop time. I love you MONBEBE,” expressing his affection for his fans.
JOOHEON also revealed his short haircut before joining the military on his SNS on July 23. He also posed in the practice room with group member HYUNGWON.
As a result, JOOHEON will join the army as the third member after SHOWNU and MINHYUK. SHOWNU completed his duty as a social worker in April, and MINHYUK joined the army the same month and is on active duty.
JOOHEON debuted as members of MONSTA X in 2015 and released hit songs such as “Trespass”, “Shoot Out” and “Love killa”.
