On August 20th of this year, ADOR agency’s group NEWJEANS (MINJI, HANNI, DANIELLE, HAERIN, HYEIN) took the stage at Summer Sonic 2023 held at Zozo Marine Stadium in Tokyo, Japan before even to have officially made its debut there.
The girls gathered no less than 30 000 people during their performance. The organizers even refused some spectators due to their number according to ADOR.
After opening the stage with « Ditto » and « OMG », NEWJEANS said : « It’s our first time at Summer Sonic, so we’re really excited. We’ve been working hard to prepare, we’re going to have a great time together today and create unforgettable memories ».
They continued with « Cookie », « Attention », « Hype boy » and « New jeans ». Dancers took the stage to perform « Super shy ». Finally, they ended their performance with « ETA », « Cool with you », « Get up » and « ASAP ».
After about forty minutes of performance, NEWJEANS said « Thanks to all of you, we enjoyed every performance ».
