Brand New Music‘s three-boy group BDC (Sihun, Seongjun, and Junghwan) released its farewell single “REST” today (26).
Brand New Music drew attention to the single by posting special lyric spoilers and video teasers, beginning with the release of cover images to its official SNS on August 21.
The spoiler lyric image, released for three days from the 22nd, is handwritten by BDC members against a backdrop of moving landscape photos. It caught the eye because it contained some of the lyrics to “Rest”, including “You always reach out your hand to me, to the one you miss the most“. The heartfelt lyrics, “Thank you for filling my being, for being a beautiful flower” and “Hi, it’s time to pick up another way” touched fans’ hearts.
The special video teaser released yesterday afternoon (25) shows the various activities that BDC members have carried out over the past three years. It contains all the current images of the preparation of the single, attracting the expectations of fans around the world for “Rest”.
In particular, BDC’s farewell single “REST” was written by all members and composed by HONG SEONG JUN and KIM SIHUN, who have laughed and cried together since their debut. It was known as a fan song to express gratitude to the “Fine” fandom, adding more meaning.
BDC’s single “REST” was released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST today.
