Group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) won three music awards with their new song “God of music”.
SEVENTEEN topped KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on November 3 with the title song “God of music” from its 11th mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”. SEVENTEEN won MBC M’s “Show champion” and Mnet’s “M Countdown”, the group also held the No. 1 trophy in their arms at “Music Bank”.
SEVENTEEN, who ranked first that day, said: “We have worked hard to make you happy, and we are very happy to receive such a grateful reward, and I hope we can work in good health and happy with our senior and junior comrades in the music industry. SEVENTEEN became the first artist to sell more than 5 million albums in one week after its release with “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”, ranking first in history. Additionally, the title song “God of music” remained at the top of major national music charts such as Melon, Genie and Bugs immediately after its release. In particular, “God of music” set a record in this year’s Melon TOP100 for a K-pop boy group for the first time.
