Which future for the group ?
When, by the end of August, BTOB’s company, CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, was announcing that the negoations for the contrats’ renewal was starting, the company posted another announcement, few days ago, to inform the fans that the group and its company had not found any arrangement yet.
It’s surpriseless that the company has made, today, a new announcement to inform the fans that after long negociations, and since they can’t find any agreement, the 6 members SEO EUNKWANG, LEE MINHYUK, LEE CHANGSUB, IM HYUNSIK, SHIN PENIEL & YOOK SUNGJAE won’t renew their contract with CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, putting an end to their 11 years collaboration with the company, after 2 contracts.
The company show some thankful words to the group and the fans and the break up seems to be pacific. In the announcement, CUBE ENTERTAINMENT says that they will keep checking on the group’s evolution and asks the fans a lot of support for the new journey that’s starting.
Of course, now is asked the question about the future of the group. Will they keep working together or will they go for solo activities? In which company will they sign? Will they create their own? A rumor says that they’re alreay looking for another company and that they made 2 offers yet. The fact that they leave all together is quite a good news for the fans.
BTOB debuted in 2012 under the label of CUBE ENTERTAINMENT with their song “Insane“, from the album “BORN TO BEAT“. They have, since then, known a great success in South Korea, especially thanks to their song “Missing you” that won, by it’s own self, a total of 17 prizes.
We wish them a great new start and a big success for the future, with all those new possibilities.
