MIYEON and YUQI of the group (G)I-DLE presented a scene worthy of a fairy tale.
KBS2’s “2023 Music Bank Global Festival“, broadcast on December 15, featured (G)I-DLE’s MIYEON and YUQI who performed a collaboration scene with Ive’s Leeseo and Liz.
That day, MIYEON and YUQI appeared in light purple costumes and attracted attention with their fairy-tale visuals even before the show started.
MIYEON and YUQI, who started the stage, then reinterpreted IU’s “Lilac” with different tones. The refreshing voice of MIYEON, the lead singer of the group, and the delicate and mature voice of YUQI brought joy to viewers’ ears.
The smooth choreography that matches the lyrics and tone also raised the level of scene completion. It is said that MIYEON and YUQI, who perfectly transformed into “human lilac” from visual to voice and movement, warmed the hearts of the cold winter audience.
(G)I-DLE, which includes MIYEON and YUQI, ranked 25th on the Billboard 200 with their debut US EP album “HEAT” released on October 6, reaching a “Career High”, proving their potential as a global artists. The group also won the hearts of fans around the world by completing the “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour” with the final performance in Philadelphia on December 13 (local time).
(G)I-DLE, who successfully completed the “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour,” will prepare for its comeback with the goal of releasing its second full-length album in January 2024.
