PENTAGON’s HUI has started warming up for his solo debut.
Cube Entertainment released a surprise video for HUI’s debut solo mini album “WHU IS ME: Complex” on its official SNS on December 23 at midnight KST.
In the video titled “WHU IS COMING” HUI appeared sitting on a chair in the dark, attracting attention only with his figure. The lights were then turned on and HUI’s unconventional visual transformation with pink hair was revealed.
HUI, who boasts a more colorful visual, looked into the camera with a strong look a little later, making viewers nervous. Despite the short video of around 14 seconds, the expectations for the new opus are added to HUI’s unparalleled presence.
HUI has been loved for his smooth vocals and distinctive performances since his debut as a PENTAGON artist in 2016. With his exceptional songwriting, composition and production abilities, HUI has participated in the production of many hit songs , including PENTAGON’s “Shine”, Wanna One’s “Feelin like” and “Energetic”, earning him the nicknames “All Rounder” and “Trusty Listening Hui“. Therefore, the public’s attention is focused on HUI’s new song, which he will present for the first time as a solo artist.
HUI’s first solo mini album, “WHU IS ME: Complex“, will be released on January 16, 2024 at 6 p.m. KST on various online music sites.
