Singer BANG YEDAM has owned the small screen with his deadly voice.
BANG YEDAM appeared in the winter special of MBC entertainment program “Masked Singer“, broadcast on the afternoon of the 24th, under the pseudonym “Deliciously Spicy” and presented a perfect scene.
BANG YEDAM appeared on the first stage of the second round semi-final, reinterpreting Riize’s “Get a guitar” with his own color. BANG YEDAM delivered free energy with his voice and trendy groove, shaking the hearts of the judges.
Additionally, BANG YEDAM showed off his exceptional talents by singing a medley of pop songs such as “Billy jean” by Michael Jackson, “Man in the mirror” and “Baby” by Justin Bieber. Hearing BANG YEDAM‘s song, the judges praised his song saying, “Voice representing the MZ generation“, “Soulful singing method” and “You look like a pop singer“.
BANG YEDAM, who unfortunately lost the winner’s spot to “Toy Byung-jung“, said about the opportunity to move from group to solo: “I wanted to develop my abilities as a producer and I found a new challenge, developing my dreams since I was little.“
Additionally, BANG YEDAM said, “I admired Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, and Justin Bieber, the Little King of Pop. I also want to make and play music for different generations.“
BANG YEDAM took his first steps as a solo musician after releasing his first mini-album, “ONLY ONE,” in November. The album topped the iTunes album chart in two regions and entered the top 12 in different regions. It is also in the top 11 regions for the Apple Music Albums chart, showing notable achievements.
The title song “하나만 해” gained popularity at home and abroad, topping the Melon HOT100 in six regions, as well as other iTunes song charts. Additionally, BANG YEDAM was recently chosen as an RCY Youth Red Cross Ambassador and played an extraordinary role.
BANG YEDAM, who showed his singer-songwriter talents in his solo debut this year, is also expected to meet music fans through various online and offline contents in 2024.
