SEVENTEEN delights fans with the official release of “경음악의 신” (“God of light music“) and a remix version of the main track from its mini-album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“, titled “음악의 신 (뽕짝 REMIX)” (“God of music (BbongJjak REMIX)“).

SEVENTEEN – 경음악의 신

SEVENTEEN (consisting of S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) officially dropped its single “경음악의 신” (“God of light music“) at 12PM on December 26th. Additionally, a remix version of the title song from its “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” mini-album, titled “음악의 신 (뽕짝 REMIX)” (“God of music (BbongJjak REMIX)“), was unveiled simultaneously.

“경음악의 신” (“God of light music“) is a song born from the group’s original content, “GOING SEVENTEEN“. The members of SEVENTEEN presented a “fictitious album-making” in October as part of its “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” mini-album, entertaining its fans. The song quickly climbed the charts of YouTube‘s most popular videos, thanks to SEVENTEEN‘s joyful and ingenious charm.

Pledis Entertainment, its agency, expressed gratitude to the fans, stating that although the song was created as part of SEVENTEEN‘s comeback promotion, the demand for an official version of “경음악의 신” (“God of light music“) was overwhelming. It hope this surprise, along with the remix, will be a special gift for fans who supported SEVENTEEN throughout the year.

Furthermore, SEVENTEEN dominates year-end award ceremonies, having set various records in the K-pop world with album sales exceeding 16 million this year. After the success of its tour in Japan’s five major domes, “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO ASIA“, it will also perform at “NHK” (Japan’s broadcasting station) during the “74th Kohaku Uta Gassen” on December 31th.
