Singer KIM SUNG KYU will join the musical “Dear Evan Hansen.”
KIM SUNG KYU will play the main character Evan Hansen in the musical comedy “Dear Evan Hansen“, which opens on March 28.
After its 2015 premiere in Washington, D.C., “Dear Evan Hansen” won six awards, including Best Picture and Best Play at the 71st Tony Awards in 2017, and earned 48 nominations and 26 awards at 15 prestigious ceremonies, including the 2018 Grammy Awards and the 2020 Lawrence Olivier Awards.
In particular, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (hereinafter referred to as Pasek & Paul), the musical teams of “La La Land“, “The Great Showman” and “Aladdin”, are responsible for the writing and composition of “Dear Evan Hansen” adding expectations.
