The all-time collaboration between MELOMANCE’s KIM MIN SEOK and British singer-songwriter Sam Ryder is over.

Warner Music Korea released an official teaser video of “Back in love” on its official SNS on January 9 at midnight, officially announcing the collaboration between KIM MIN SEOK and Sam Ryder.
According to the released video, the name of the collaborative song will be released at 6 p.m. KST on January 10 under the name “Back in love.” In particular, the video raised expectations because it featured some recording scenes of KIM MIN SEOK and Sam Ryder, live without accompaniment.
The two artists sang a part of “Back in love” without accompaniment and showed off their “vocal geniuses” with their sharp skills. Some of the lyrics released sparked greater interest in the special meeting between the two men and drew attention to the music that will be presented by Korea’s “God of High Tone” and Britain’s “Vocal End King.“
As global fans’ expectations rise due to the collaboration of two male singers with special sounds, KIM MIN SEOK works with Jung Dong Hwan as the duo MELOMANCE. Every song he released, including “Gift”, which managed to topple the charts, and “Tale”, topped the charts. Additionally, as a solo singer-songwriter, he released “Drunken Confession” and “Always with you“.
Sam Ryder is a new representative of British pop. Some of his major songs include “Tiny Riot” and “Space man”. Nicknamed by Korean fans, he successfully completed his first concert in Korea in November last year at the Grand Theater of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
Since the collaboration between Crush and Pink Sweat$ in 2019, Warner Music Korea has collaborated with Mamamoo’s Hwasa, pop star Dua Lipa, Chungha and Danish superstar Christopher, as well as (G)I-DLE’s Minnie and Anne-Marie. This time, with the collaboration of KIM MIN SEOK and Sam Ryder, it is planned that a more complete sound source will be created.
KIM MIN SEOK and Sam Ryder’s collaborative song “Back in love” will be available on various music sites at 6 p.m. on January 10.
